I was kindly invited by Erick Fletes from The New Republic to do a portrait of the great Frank Lloyd Wright for their April issue.
It's been a century since I last posted here, mainly because I want to change the blog system (also I am overwhelmingly busy). A lot of things happened that I will try to backtrack in the coming months and keep this space updated. The reason I am posting is that in two weeks (!) my next solo will be opening at Thinkspace Gallery in Los Angeles. The piece above is one of the works I will showing in this exhibition. Feel free to come by, here's the info:
Thinkspace Gallery 6009 W Washington Blvd, Culver City, CA 90232 Los Angeles
Opening reception: February 1st 6-9PM
On View: February 1st-22nd
This is the third of the graphite drawings I did for "Lined in Lead II" groupshow. There's still a lot of works available from all the great artists, for inquiries: http://www.gallerynucleus.com/gallery/pieces/384
Also, I have a new print of "Kyudo" out through Gallery Nucleus. It's an edition of 50, numbered and signed: http://www.gallerynucleus.com/home/detail/15556
This is the second piece of the three I am bringing to the group show "Lined in Lead II". This is probably gonna be my last three Rites drawings series... or not.
The show will open next week in Los Angeles and I will be attending, feel free to say hi.
This year I had the pleasure to be invited to the " Microvisions " group show. All the pieces are going to be shown @ the Society of Illustrators in NY during May and they will be for auction late in the month with all the profit going straight to the Society’s Student Scholarship Fund.
